About Me

Shortly about me
My name is Astrid Hindersson and I am a mostly self-taught artist studying media, who lives in southern Finland with her partner and Remi the dog. My interests are drawing, writing, music and video games, as well as crafting and reading. Learning new things is always fun, which is why I strive to challenge myself creatively as often as possible.
I have studied English language and literature at Åbo
Akademi, finished my Bachelor's in 2021 and my Master's
2023. My Master's thesis about video game adaptations
of 2000s films is available online via this link. At the moment,
I am studying media at Yrkesakademin in Närpes.
I was self-employed for five years (with a little pause
in the middle), first as a summer job (odd jobs) and then
to freelance as a translator and subtitler. For my media-
education, I have interned twice and worked with graphic
design, print and journalism.
